Deze radiator’hoes’ neemt warmte op van je radiator en kan zo als een warm
deken gebruikt worden. De HEATEX verbergt je storende radiator en kan
er eenvoudig aan bevestigd worden met magneetjes. Je kan zachtjes tegen
je radiator zitten en leunen of gewoon de HEATEX eenvoudigweg meenemen
naar je zetel.
Er worden Phase Change Materials (PCM) gebruikt waarin microscopische
partikels worden omhuld door een beschermende polymeercoating door
nano- en microcapsulatie. Deze capsules reageren op hun omgeving en
nemen warmte op. Bij het smelten van de paraffine uit deze capsules zal
het deken langzaam zijn warmte afgeven.
In het tussenseizoen, kan men de groene, uitneembare wantjes - die
d.m.v. een sputtertechniek opwarmbaar zijn in de microgolfoven -
opwarmen. De radiator hoeft dus niet onnodig worden opgezet.
WAAROM ECO?
Door de PCM 50 te ontwikkelen is het mogelijk de geaccumuleerde warmte
te hergebruiken. En door een combinatie van verschillende PCM's zal dit
deken op verschillende temperaturen warmte afstaan. Een ander pluspunt
is dat de buitenste laag van de HEATEX bestaat uit een fleece-stof; dit
is een opgeruwd polyester. De vezel die men gebruikt om fleece te
fabriceren wordt uit gebruikte plastic limonadeflessen of ander plastic
afval gemaakt.
